MRO Conversion Types

Here is a clear overview of where things currently stand with conversions in our MRO Events data.

Are conversions included in MRO Events?

At this time, conversions are not yet available within the MRO Events GUI. We understand this is a valuable data point, and we want to be transparent about what is available today and what is on the way.

What is currently tracked?

• As soon as an aircraft is identified as undergoing conversion, it is given the status "Conversion" in its aircraft file. The completion date is then recorded in the aircraft's history as the date it first flew in its new configuration.
• While an aircraft is actively undergoing a conversion, its conversion status is visible within the aircraft data.
• However, at this stage, the future aircraft variant is not yet determinable while the conversion is still in progress.

What is coming?

• We are also actively working on incorporating this into the MRO Events GUI.
