Thank you for considering ch-aviation as a channel for your company news. Many of our stories begin with information shared by lessors, investors and service providers, and we review every submission we receive.
Our news coverage focuses on airlines and their operations. We report on lessor and investor transactions when they directly affect what an airline does: its fleet, its capacity or its network. For aircraft transactions, this means:
- Covered: leases that bring a new aircraft type into an airline’s fleet, larger lease or sale and leaseback deals that significantly change an airline’s fleet, and transactions linked to wider developments at an airline, such as a restructuring or fleet renewal.
- Not covered as a news story: the sale or acquisition of aircraft already on lease, where the aircraft keep flying for the same airline and only the owner or asset manager changes. For example, a lessor buying two in-service aircraft on lease to an airline from another lessor.
If your announcement concerns a change of ownership of aircraft already in service, it is unlikely to be published as a news article.
How can I share news with the editorial team?
Please send your story, press release or announcement to news@ch-aviation.com. Our editorial team reviews every submission and considers it for coverage. To help us assess your story quickly, please include:
- The aircraft type(s), MSN(s) and registration(s)
- The lessee airline(s)
- The seller and buyer, and the asset manager if different
- The transaction date or planned announcement date
Will the change of ownership still appear in the ch-aviation database?
Yes. Our aircraft ownership and fleet data is maintained separately from our news coverage. To report an ownership or management change directly to the responsible fleet list editor, click the envelope icon next to the relevant aircraft record on ch-aviation.com.
